One of the amazing thing of the Spring Festival in Beijing in the past was the fireworks on the streets. It\’s just like a war fighting against an invasion of giant monster. It\’s like watching a street war against Nian the beasts. The fireworks are full with fire and smoke. It\’s very dynamic and exciting.
However, due to the serious air pollution caused by such overflowing activities, the fireworks now have been forbidden downtown by the government.The spectacular look like this has become a memory for a generation. To experience such a grand occasion, it have to be in the suburbs outside the Fifth Ring. You still get a chance to experience this when live in subtown of Beijing during the Spring Festival.
